Intro Track – Workshop: Introduction to Data Science in R
Ezgi Karaesmen is a PhD student at The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy, where her research aims to understand the effect of genetic variants on treatment responses in leukemia patients.
She is especially interested in time to event data and uses survival models for her research. Ezgi works with large clinical and genomic datasets and uses R regularly for a variety of analytical steps such as data cleaning, modeling, and data visualization.
She is also one of the co-organizers of R-Ladies Columbus, where she regularly organizes workshops on various R subjects.
