Why is being a part of the WIA team important to you?
Women in Analytics contributes to diversity and inclusion translating to meaningful awareness and insights into societal and economic impacts faced as technology advancements are made. The focus on analytics and the recognition of patterns and relationships is where I feel women thrive, and WIA allows those storytellers to be encouraged to voice their perspectives in ways they may have felt minimized before. The impacts of this empowerment can be felt in the boost to the economy as we hold professional and community positions that increase our influence on research, development and applications of products and services to the marketplace. I love being an advocate for a mission that is targeted at allowing people to be their best version of themselves, that encourages positive, and advocates for balanced improvement to society. I feel WIA does this.
