Sahanna is excited to be working with the Women in Analytics organization for the fifth year as the registration chair. During the day, she works as a data scientist for CarelonRx, Elevance Health's pharmacy benefit manager solution. Over the past several years, she has built a career in population health analytics consulting and gained diverse experience working for a variety of industries, including local government, defense contracting, and provider/hospital systems. Sahanna is excited about the possibilities that emerge at the intersection of population health and technology for improving healthcare access, delivery, quality, and cost.

In her free time, Sahanna dances with several local Chicago South Asian dance groups and also engages with the community as a freelance choreographer/sound mixer. She also plays tennis and enjoys traveling!

Increasing visibility of the diversity in the analytic community and working to build a platform that elevates these voices is something near and dear to my heart as a woman of color in a STEM field. I am honored to work alongside other passionate individuals to enable the mission of the Women in Analytics community.
